Mitchell’s Glengyle Ltd, the family company behind neighbouring Springbank, rebuilt the site and distilling began again in 2004. Its single malt is bottled as Kilkerran, from the Gaelic name for the settlement where Campbeltown now stands.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003e\u003cstrong\u003eHow it’s made\u003c\/strong\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eMade from heavily peated malt, Batch 14 was matured in a mix of around 90% bourbon casks and 10% sherry casks.
