The distillery is on Denmark’s west coast, near Skjern, and makes its whisky from grain to glass using just grain, yeast and water. Malting and distillation both take place on site, and the spirit is run through small copper pot stills heated by direct fire.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003e\u003cstrong\u003eHow it’s made\u003c\/strong\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eThe rye and barley are grown locally and floor-malted at the distillery. The spirit is double distilled in small direct-fired copper pot stills, then matured for around three to four years in new American oak barrels.
