Mount Gay Eclipse is the flagship expression from Mount Gay, the world's oldest rum brand, distilling on Barbados since 1703. Named to commemorate the "double phenomenon" of the total solar eclipse and the passing of Halley's Comet in 1910, this blend brings together pot and column still rums, each matured separately in charred, ex-bourbon American oak barrels before being married together at the distillery on the island's rugged west coast.

Expect a full, rounded nose of fresh flowers, honey, vanilla and tropical fruit, leading into a smooth, well-balanced palate of banana, toasted oak, vanilla and warming spice, with a long finish of toffee and gentle smoke.
