North Point Spiced Rum, 70cl

North Point Spiced Rum is hand-crafted at North Point Distillery, a small-batch producer on Scotland's far north coast near Thurso, Caithness — fittingly based at a former Cold War US Navy communications station. Founded in 2020 by Struan Mackie and Alex MacDonald, the distillery is a certified B Corporation built around sustainable, small-batch production using green energy.

The rum is double-distilled with 21 spices and botanicals added during the second run, then finished for three weeks with vanilla pods, cinnamon sticks and muscovado sugar. The result is a rich, warming spiced rum with cacao, Seville orange and molasses on the nose, and cinnamon, liquorice, aniseed and chocolate-orange on the palate, with a touch of coffee in the depths. Non-chill filtered — a light sediment may appear when chilled.
