San Silvestro's Appassimento Barbera is a Piemonte Barbera made using the passito method, where grapes are partially dried before fermentation to concentrate flavour and body. Produced by the San Silvestro estate, founded in 1871, the wine is elegant and silky, with ripe blueberry and cherry jam flavours layered with delicate toasty notes, balancing richness with freshness and a smooth texture.

A versatile, food-friendly Piedmontese red, it suits roasted meats, mature cheeses, tomato-based pasta dishes or drinking on its own. Vegan and vegetarian friendly. Serve at 16–18°C. ABV 14%. 75cl bottle.
