Shipping policy
The Amber Vault is operated by Ellon Spirit Company (registered in Scotland, company number SC621054). Registered office: 4 Lomond Crescent, Ellon AB41 9GE. Our shop, Ellon Spirits, is at Neil Ross Square, 31 Bridge Street, Ellon AB41 9AA.
Where we deliver
We currently deliver to addresses in the United Kingdom only. We do not ship outside the UK.
Carrier and delivery time
All orders are sent by Royal Mail 48 age-restricted delivery. Royal Mail aims to deliver within 1 working days of dispatch. Delivery times are estimates and are not guaranteed. We will email you when your order has been dispatched.
Delivery charges
Delivery is charged by the total weight of your order:
- Orders up to 2 kg: £4.95
- Orders over 2 kg and up to 20 kg: £9.90
The delivery charge for your order is shown at checkout before you pay. If your order weighs more than 20 kg, please contact us before ordering.
Age-restricted delivery
You must be 18 or over to buy alcohol from us. All deliveries are age-restricted. Royal Mail will check that the person receiving the parcel is 18 or over and may ask to see photo ID. Parcels containing alcohol will not be left in a safe place or handed to anyone under 18.
If nobody aged 18 or over is available to receive the parcel, or valid ID cannot be shown, the parcel may be held at a Royal Mail delivery office or returned to us. If it is returned, we will contact you to arrange redelivery or a refund in line with our Refund policy.
Damaged, incorrect or missing orders
Please check your parcel when it arrives. If an item is damaged, incorrect or has not arrived, contact us as soon as possible at hello@the-amber-vault.co.uk or on 07761 477615 and we will put it right.
