Aberfeldy 12 Year Old is the classic core expression from the Aberfeldy distillery, nestled in the Perthshire Highlands beside the Falls of Moness since 1898. Mellowed for twelve years in handmade oak casks — a mix of sherry, bourbon, re-fill and re-charred wood — this smooth, honeyed single malt is crafted under the direction of multi-award-winning Malt Master Stephanie Macleod.

The nose is fresh and fruity, with freshly cut melon, green apple and pear alongside hot toast, honey and a sprinkling of freshly grated nutmeg. On the palate it's wonderfully smooth, with rich honeyed fruit freshened by crisp apple notes and gentle sweet spice, finishing long with lingering honeyed fruit and good balance, and just a whisper of smoke.
