Aberlour 18 Year Old is a heavily sherried, long-aged Speyside single malt with all the hallmarks of the distillery. Introduced in 2008, it offers roundness and opulence with a rich, fruity character and excellent texture, and won Gold and Best in Class at the International Wine & Spirit Competition in 2014.
Nose: Dried oranges and sultanas, then vanilla, almond oil and some fruit and nut chocolate.
Palate: Stone fruit (peaches, nectarines and yellow plums), orange liqueur, stem ginger and spiced fruit cake.
Finish: Long, with lingering notes of orange and caramel.
