Aberlour A'Bunadh Alba takes its name from Quercus Alba, the American white oak used in its maturation. Unlike Aberlour's classic sherry-cask A'Bunadh, this cask-strength expression is matured exclusively in first-fill American oak ex-bourbon barrels, revealing a different, fresher side of the Speyside distillery: think orchard fruit, shortbread and almond rather than rich sherry spice. Bottled at natural cask strength and non-chill filtered, it won a Silver award at the 2022 San Francisco World Spirits Competition.
