Amaro Montenegro is a classic Italian bittersweet amaro from Bologna. Created in 1885 and named in honour of Elena of Montenegro, the second Queen of Italy, it is made from 40 botanicals following a secret recipe. Sweet, herbal and gently bitter, it is traditionally enjoyed as an after-dinner digestivo, over ice with an orange slice, or in spritzes and cocktails.
