Distilled at the Amrut distillery in Bangalore, Fusion marries Indian barley with a small proportion of Scottish peated barley, then matures rapidly in the tropical climate. Since its 2009 launch it has become one of the most decorated Indian whiskies in the world, winning an IWSC Gold in 2020 and being named the best whisky for a Rob Roy at New York's Ultimate Cocktail Challenge.
Tasting Notes
Nose: Fresh and tinned fruit - peaches, mangoes and apricots - plus spicy cinnamon and clove, with hints of Earl Grey tea and subtle smoke.
Palate: Fresh fruit and citrus-orange character accented by black pepper and cinnamon spice; rich and refreshing.
Finish: Spice and fruit notes persist for an extended duration.
