Tattie Bogle is Scotland's original potato vodka, made by the Stirling family at Arbikie Distillery on their own working farm on the Angus coast. Named after the Scots word for a scarecrow, it's distilled from potatoes — Maris Piper, King Edward and Cultra varieties — grown, harvested and processed on-site in a genuine field-to-bottle process, giving a naturally gluten-free base.
On the nose it's creamy with a warm hit of black pepper and a whisper of spice. On the palate that creaminess carries through, rich and velvety, with more black pepper and a soft note of ripe pear on the finish.
A vodka built to be tasted, not just mixed — though it holds up well with a splash of soda over ice, or shaken into a dry Martini for a rounder, more textured twist on the classic.
