BenRiach The Twenty One is a spectacular Speyside single malt blending unpeated and peated spirit matured for 21 years in four cask types: bourbon barrels, sherry casks, virgin oak casks and Bordeaux red wine casks. Bottled without added colouring, it won Double Gold at the San Francisco World Spirits Competition 2021.
Nose: Buttered hot cross buns, old oak furniture, toasty peat, sherried peel and pecans.
Palate: Raisins, sultanas, nutty brown bread and smoky cedar, finishing in dark chocolate.
Finish: Peppercorn and clove building slowly, with dried cherry and almond.
