Boe Gin hails from Scotland, founded in 2008 and named after Franciscus Sylvius (Franz de la Boe), credited by many as an early architect of gin distillation. The brand's small-batch approach sees a dedicated distiller hand-select botanicals for each recipe, infused into fine neutral grain spirit for a clean, characterful spirit.
Boe Violet Gin takes the distillery's award-winning Scottish Gin recipe and enhances it with an infusion of delicate violet flowers, layered over the classic juniper, coriander and citrus botanical base for a distinctly floral variation.
The result is a hugely floral gin, with classic citrus notes cutting cleanly through the violet perfume on the nose, a light, delicate palate, and a soft, aromatic finish, coloured with a beautiful natural hue.
Best enjoyed simply with a premium tonic to let the floral character shine, or mixed with elderflower tonic or lemonade over ice for a colourful, summery serve.
