Blended from 60% Pinot Noir, 25% Chardonnay and 15% Pinot Meunier, over 85% of it Grand and Premier Cru fruit, Special Cuvee is the emblematic expression of Champagne Bollinger's house style. It is aged in the cellar for twice the appellation's required minimum, giving it exceptional depth and consistency vintage after vintage.
Tasting Notes
Nose: Aromatic complexity with ripe fruit and spice, hints of roasted apple, compote and peaches.
Palate: A subtle combination of structure, length and vivacity, with pear, brioche, spice and fresh walnut.
