Bottega Il Vino dei Poeti Valdobbiadene Prosecco Superiore DOCG is an elegant Extra Dry sparkling wine made from Glera grown on the hills between Conegliano and Valdobbiadene. Brilliant straw yellow in the glass with fine, persistent bubbles, it is presented in a black bottle with gold detailing. About the producer
Bottega is an Italian wine producer based at Villa Rosina in Bibano di Godega di Sant’Urbano, in the province of Treviso, with a history that stretches back to 1635. The company makes Prosecco, still wines and grappa, and the Il Vino dei Poeti range is among its best-known sparkling wines.
How it’s made
The Glera grapes come from the hilly Conegliano and Valdobbiadene area of Treviso and are vinified as a white wine before the sparkling second fermentation. In the Extra Dry style, a little residual sugar gives a soft impression on the palate while lively acidity keeps the wine tasting dry.
