Bowmore 12 Year Old Islay Single Malt Scotch Whisky, 70cl

Bowmore 12 Year Old is the classic entry point into one of Islay's oldest working distilleries, founded in 1779 on the shores of Loch Indaal. Matured in a combination of ex-bourbon and ex-oloroso sherry casks, it brings together the distillery's trademark coastal peat smoke with sweeter, fruitier sherry notes.

The nose pairs gentle smoke and ash with citrus, honey and tropical fruit, while the palate is rounded and honeyed with vanilla, soft peat and a touch of sea spray, finishing long and smoky. A gentle, approachable introduction to peated Islay malts.
