Champagne Collet Brut Rosé NV, France, 75cl

Champagne Collet Brut Rosé is produced by the Premier Cru house of Collet in Aÿ, founded in 1921, blending Pinot Noir (with a portion vinified as red wine), Chardonnay and Meunier. Aged for a minimum of four years in the house's limestone cellars, it pours an intense, luminous peach-pink and opens with delicate floral notes unfolding into citrus tones of mandarin and orange, layered with yellow peach, raspberry and mulberry.

On the palate it is generous, with flavours of blackcurrant, mulberry and peach and a touch of cocoa, finished by fine, silky bubbles and a supple texture. Enjoy as an aperitif or alongside grilled shellfish, lobster or Parmesan-almond biscuits. Serve well chilled at 8–10°C. ABV 12%. 75cl bottle.
