Croft Particular Pale Amontillado Sherry, 75cl

Croft Particular is a pale amontillado-style sherry from Jerez in Andalusia, made entirely from Palomino grapes and sold under the Croft brand, owned by sherry producer González Byass. Built on a fino base wine rather than an oloroso base, it's a medium-dry style with an unusually pale colour for an amontillado.

Tasting notes describe a nutty aroma of almonds and Brazil nuts, a crisp palate with a little sweetness offsetting the fino-style dryness, and a gentle, lingering hazelnut finish.
