Cune Imperial Reserva is one of Rioja's finest reservas, produced by CVNE only in exceptional vintages from mostly Tempranillo handpicked in the producer's oldest vineyards. The wine takes its name from its original UK export format, imperial-sized pint measures. A fine, structured and deep wine, it is aged in French and American oak casks for a minimum of 12 months, and for a further period in bottle.
Nose: Vanilla, sloes, mulberries and spice, with a deep berry character of blackberries and black cherry.
Palate: Stewed currant fruit with hints of toasty oak and fine spices from the oak ageing.
Finish: A fine, long finish.
