Deanston 12 Year Old Highland Single Malt Scotch Whisky, 70cl

Deanston distillery occupies a former 18th-century cotton mill on the River Teith near Doune, and generates its own electricity on site via a hydro turbine and dam. The 12 Year Old is distilled from unpeated Highland barley, matured in bourbon casks, and bottled without chill-filtration or added colouring for a fuller, waxier mouthfeel.

Expect fresh hay, malty cereal, honeyed heather and sweet oak on the nose, leading into a smooth, creamy palate of vanilla, ripe fruit and honeyed spice, with a light clove tingle on the finish.
