Della Vite Prosecco Treviso DOC, Veneto, Italy, 75cl

Della Vite Prosecco Treviso DOC is an Italian sparkling wine from the Veneto, made from 100% Glera and bottled at 11.5% ABV. This extra dry Prosecco shows jasmine and lavender aromas, with gooseberry and white peach flavours and fine, creamy bubbles. The signature bottle logo was designed by Poppy Delevingne, and the wine is certified vegan.

About the producer

Della Vite was created by sisters Chloe, Poppy and Cara Delevingne in partnership with Carlo and Adriana Biasiotto, a third-generation winemaking family in Valdobbiadene. The Biasiotto family run the Foss Marai estate, founded in 1986. The wines are certified vegan, and the winery uses sustainable methods and is powered by solar energy.

How it’s made

Della Vite Prosecco Treviso DOC is made from handpicked Glera grapes grown on glacial soils in Valdobbiadene, in the Veneto. After the base wine is made, it undergoes a secondary fermentation of around 60 days in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks, which keeps the fruit fresh and gives the wine its small, creamy bubbles. It is bottled at 11.5% ABV.

Tasting notes

• Nose: Floral aromas of jasmine and lavender, with gooseberry.
• Palate: Clean and bright, with gooseberry, honeysuckle and white peach, finishing with small, creamy bubbles.

How to enjoy it

Serve Della Vite Prosecco Treviso DOC well chilled in a tulip or white wine glass. It makes an easy aperitif and mixes well in cocktails such as a Bellini or a spritz. At the table it pairs with Italian antipasti, fish, shellfish and other seafood, and with vegetable dishes.
