A molasses-based Venezuelan rum distilled in copper pot stills and matured in ex-whisky barrels, Reserva Exclusiva is rich and complex enough to sip neat or over ice, yet versatile enough to stand in for whisky in a Manhattan. It has won Gold at The Rum & Cachaca Masters and Silver at the IWSC.
Tasting Notes
Nose: Sultanas, chocolate, Christmas cake and gingerbread, with banana and custard notes emerging over time.
Palate: Cocoa and vanilla with huge notes of oaky spice, brandy, plums and pepper.
