About the producer

Famiglia Castellani is a family-owned Tuscan wine producer founded in 1903 and based near Pisa, with its cellars in Santa Lucia, Pontedera. Now led by the fourth generation, it focuses on classic Tuscan wines and works around 300 hectares of vineyards, studying the soils and microclimates of each site to combine tradition with innovation.

How it’s made

The Vermentino grapes come from a low-yielding vineyard on the Tuscan coast. They are destemmed and gently pressed, and the juice fractions are chilled to 8°C to settle. Fermentation then takes place in stainless steel at low temperatures, with no extended ageing, so the wine keeps its freshness and floral character.
