Four Roses Small Batch marries four of the distillery's ten unique bourbon recipes, mingling mellow fruitiness with warming spice for a bourbon that is smooth, complex and never harsh.
Nose: Subtle and smooth, with notes of winter spice, buttered granary toast and thick honey, plus hints of cut flowers and dry hay.
Palate: Fuller and beautifully balanced, with manuka honey, winter spice, toasty oak, a little creme anglaise and thick fruit.
Finish: Good length, with a resurgence of creme anglaise sweetness.
