About the producer

Gabriel Boudier was founded in 1874 in Dijon, Burgundy, when Gabriel Boudier took over Maison Fontbonne. The business remains family-owned and is best known for its Crème de Cassis de Dijon, the classic base for a Kir. The house keeps traditional recipes handed down through generations, and uses rotating tanks to improve maceration.

How it’s made

This crème de framboises is made in Dijon by macerating selected raspberry varieties from Scotland and Burgundy. Maceration, which draws colour, aroma and flavour from the fruit, is the house technique at Gabriel Boudier. The liqueur is unaged and non-vintage, and it is sweet and syrupy in style.
