Gin Bothy Plum Liqueur is a Scottish gin liqueur made by infusing gin with freshly pressed plums and adding sugar. About the brand
Gin Bothy began life as The Jam Bothy, in the hills of the Angus Glens in Scotland. While making jam from berries grown nearby, founder Kim found herself with leftover fruit juice and started experimenting with gin infusions. That curiosity grew into a range of small batch gins and liqueurs, now made at Bothy Distillery in Glen Prosen, Angus.
How it’s made
Gin Bothy starts with its Scottish gin and infuses it with freshly pressed plums, then adds sugar to create a rich fruit liqueur. Across the Gin Bothy fruit range, the fruit is steeped in the gin for up to three months and turned by hand each day, and the spirits are made in small batches.
