Glen Elgin 12 Year Old is the official distillery bottling from the Glen Elgin distillery, founded in 1898 near Elgin in Speyside. The distillery uses six stills and traditional wooden worm tubs, helping to create a fruity single malt with buttery vanilla and sweet spice.
Nose: Cereal sweetness with hints of rum spice, espresso, toffee apples and ginger
Palate: Soft and malty, with salty butter, raisins, walnut loaf and coffee ice-cream
Finish: Long and malt-driven, with a hint of sugary porridge
