Glencadam Origin 1825 is named for the year the Brechin distillery was founded. Matured in bourbon barrels and then finished in oloroso sherry butts, it is a sweet, fruity Highland single malt with no age statement.
Nose: Mixed fruit, red fruit from the sherry casks, tropical notes from American oak and the creamy Glencadam character.
Palate: Sweet winter spice, vanilla, malt, cooked fruit and fruit salad.
Finish: Sweet and fruity.
