Glenfiddich Project XX is a bold, innovative Speyside single malt from the Glenfiddich Experimental Series (#02). Twenty Glenfiddich ambassadors each chose a cask from the warehouse, and the whisky is matured in port pipes, sherry butts and first-fill bourbon barrels. It is non-chill-filtered and of natural colour.
Nose: Fresh orange juice, ripe apple, apricot jam, a hint of pineapple, golden raisin, cinnamon and toasted oak.
Palate: Sweet and spicy, with stewed apple, orange and dates alongside caramel, milk chocolate, citrus peel and a little pepper.
Finish: Medium to long and drier, with spice and slightly leafy notes.
