GlenWyvis The Drover Highland Single Malt Scotch Whisky, 70cl

The Drover is Volume 1 of GlenWyvis's Highland Legacy Series, from Scotland's first community-owned distillery in Dingwall. Named in tribute to the drovers who once herded Highland cattle across the region to market, this release is matured across a striking blend of Sauternes, Madeira, Oloroso sherry and bourbon casks, giving a richly layered, dessert-like dram.

GlenWyvis was founded by hundreds of local shareholders and built on renewable power — a genuinely community-owned Highland distillery whose bottlings sell out quickly among collectors.

• Nose: Leather, milk chocolate, fresh walnut, crumble and poached pears.
• Palate: Walnut, pepper, cocoa nibs and orange zest.
• Finish: Long-lasting, with cocoa, toasted nuts and bitter almonds.
