Founded in Elgin in 1895, independent bottler Gordon & MacPhail has spent well over a century sourcing and maturing Scotch whisky from distilleries across Scotland. Their Spirit of Scotland range showcases single cask, cask strength bottlings selected to highlight a distillery's character at its most vivid — including this Glen Grant, distilled at the Speyside distillery in 2010 and matured for fourteen years in a first-fill sherry hogshead before being hand-selected and bottled by Gordon & MacPhail in 2025.
Bottled at natural cask strength and left non-chill filtered with its own natural colour, this Glen Grant takes the distillery's famously light, elegant house style and turns the volume up. Expect orchard apples, pear drops, sweet malt, vanilla cream and gentle floral notes on the nose, with a palate of bright fruit sweetness balanced by honeyed cereal, white pepper and subtle oak spice, finishing on fruit, soft spice and a drying malt edge.
