Goslings Black Seal Rum, 70cl

Goslings Black Seal is a dark, blended rum from the Gosling family, Bermuda's oldest rum house, whose business dates back to 1806. The name recalls the family's early practice of hand-sealing repurposed champagne bottles with black wax before proper corks and labels were common.

A blend of pot-still and column-still rum, it's the rum specified in the trademarked Dark 'n' Stormy cocktail with ginger beer. Expect butterscotch, vanilla and caramel, with a spicier treacle-and-burnt-fruit character and a clove-and-toast finish.
