Isle of Jura 12 Year Old comes from the Jura Distillery on the wild and remote Isle of Jura, off Scotland's west coast — an island famously home to more red deer than people. Matured in American white oak ex-bourbon barrels before a finishing period in Oloroso sherry casks, this is the distillery's core expression: approachable, fruit-led and quietly complex.

Jura whisky has been made on the island since the 1810s, and this 12 Year Old captures the maritime, slightly wild character the distillery is known for.

• Nose: Nutty barley, white wine, cinnamon and melon.
• Palate: Chocolate fudge and pear, with a portion of peppery malt tucked away.
• Finish: Sherbet lemons and sultanas.
