Jaffa Cake Rum, 70cl

Jaffa Cake Rum is a flavoured rum from Atom Brands that blends Caribbean rum with the taste of the classic British biscuit. Made with real Jaffa Cakes, oranges, fresh orange peel and cocoa powder, this 42% ABV flavoured rum delivers zesty orange, cake-like sweetness and dark chocolate in a 70cl bottle. It is the rum counterpart to the brand’s Jaffa Cake Gin, and is aimed at those who enjoy dessert-style spirits.

About the producer

Atom Brands is the product development division of Atom Group, a drinks company founded in 1985 and based in Tunbridge Wells, Kent. It develops spirits and liqueurs, including Ableforth’s Bathtub Gin and That Boutique-y Gin Company. Jaffa Cake Gin, launched in 2020 under the Zesty Spirits name, was followed by this rum.

How it’s made

The spirit starts with Caribbean rum, which is blended with real Jaffa Cakes, oranges, fresh orange peel and cocoa powder, in the same style as the Jaffa Cake Gin. The combination of orange and chocolate is a familiar pairing with rum, and the flavouring is built around that idea.
