Jameson Caskmates Stout Edition began as a collaboration between Jameson and the Franciscan Well craft brewery in Cork. Jameson whiskey is finished in barrels that previously held the brewery's stout, adding cocoa, coffee and butterscotch character to the smooth, triple-distilled Jameson style.
Nose: Green apple and pear, with mild pot still spice.
Palate: Hops and cocoa beans, marzipan and charred oak.
Finish: Long and sweet, with milk chocolate and butterscotch.
