J&B Rare is a blended Scotch whisky from Justerini & Brooks, Scotland, introduced in 1933 to appeal to American tastes after the repeal of Prohibition. A blend of 42 single malt and grain whiskies built around a Speyside core, it remains one of the world's best-selling Scotch whiskies.
Medium-bodied on the nose with walnut, toffee apples, cedar wood, orange zest and malt. The palate is balanced and rounded, with fruit, toffee and malt flavours, leading into a medium finish of oak and cinnamon. Equally suited to sipping neat, on the rocks, or in a highball.
