Jura 14 Year Old is a single malt from the Isle of Jura, matured in American white oak ex-bourbon barrels and finished in American rye casks. It is described by the distillery as a warm, welcoming whisky, with layers of sweet citrus fruit, dark chocolate and a hint of cinnamon, and is bottled at 40% ABV.
Nose: Fresh citrus and mint with floral undertones.
Palate: Herbal notes with caramelised nuts, tropical fruit, buttery vanilla, spiced apple, cinnamon and oak.
Finish: Fruity with woody spice, pepper warmth and nutty caramel sweetness.
