Jura Seven Wood Island Single Malt Scotch Whisky, 70cl

Jura Seven Wood is an Island single malt from the Isle of Jura Distillery, matured in American white oak ex-bourbon barrels and then finished in six different French oak casks from the Vosges, Jupilles, Les Bertranges, Allier, Tronçais and Limousin forests. The result is a spicy character balanced with chocolate and fruit notes.

• Nose: Perfumed meadow aromas lead to chocolate-covered dried fruit and creamy oats, with hints of mint and red jam.
• Palate: Rich and creamy opening with coffee and chocolate, moving to toasted spice (cinnamon, nutmeg, black pepper), plus apple, pear and orange.
• Finish: Mint chocolate lingers with apple skin and creamy coffee undertones.
