Ketel One Vodka is produced by the Nolet family, distillers in Schiedam, the Netherlands, since 1691. Named after the original copper pot still, "Distilleerketel #1," still used in production today, Ketel One blends traditional copper pot distillation with modern column distillation of European wheat to create a smooth, characterful vodka.
Made in small batches and rested before bottling, Ketel One is prized for a distinctive, delicate flavour profile rather than the neutral character of many vodkas.
The nose offers sweet spice, lemon zest, marmalade and toffee, while the palate is creamy with honey — particularly acacia honey — to the fore, developing with cut herbs and citrus zest. It finishes creamy and balanced, with gentle tingles of sweet spice.
