Kilchoman Batch Strength Islay Single Malt Scotch Whisky, 70cl

Kilchoman Batch Strength is a cask-strength peated single malt from Kilchoman, Islay's smallest and most westerly distillery, where barley is still grown, malted and distilled on the same farm. Matured across a combination of re-charred red wine casks, Oloroso sherry butts and bourbon barrels, and bottled at a bold 57% ABV without chill-filtration or added colouring, it delivers an intense expression of Kilchoman's signature farmhouse peat.

• Nose: Red fruits, fresh cherries, heather blossom and intense peat smoke.
• Palate: Toffee, rich spices, vanilla and lasting peat smoke.
• Finish: Silky and long, with fresh crumpets, butter and honey.
