Kirkjuvagr Origin Orkney Gin, 70cl

Kirkjuvagr (Old Norse for "Church Bay") is a hand-crafted Orkney gin that reflects the boldness of the islands' Norse ancestors, the clarity of Orkney's seas, and the purity of its air. Distilled by Orkney Distilling on the archipelago's windswept coastline, Origin is built around six carefully chosen botanicals: juniper, coriander, angelica, borage, and the islands' own Burnet Rose and Ramanas Rose.

On the nose, peppery juniper meets salty sea air and delicate floral dandelion notes. The palate brings candied citrus peel and coriander with soft floral undertones, before a drying, spiced finish of vanilla-tinged angelica and returning sea spray salinity.
