Laphroaig 10 Year Old Sherry Oak Finish takes the distillery's iconic peated 10 Year Old and gives it extra depth by finishing the spirit in carefully selected Oloroso sherry casks after its initial bourbon-cask maturation. Laphroaig, founded in 1815 on Islay's rugged south coast, is famed for a bold, medicinal, smoky character built on locally cut peat and traditional floor malting. This expression layers that signature smoke with rich sherry sweetness, delivering aromas of charred oak, maple syrup and barbecued citrus, a palate of roasted cedar, dark chocolate and honeyed vanilla with a trace of iodine, and a long finish balancing smouldering peat against sherried fruit.
