Laphroaig Quarter Cask Islay Single Malt Scotch Whisky is a peated Islay malt that is matured first in ex-bourbon barrels and then in smaller American oak quarter casks. The extra wood contact adds a rounder, sweeter edge to the distillery's signature smoke. Bottled at 48% ABV.
Nose: Smouldering peat with coconut and banana.
Palate: Deep, complex and smoky, with a gentle sweetness.
Finish: Very long and drying, with smoke and spice.
