Laphroaig Select Islay Single Malt Scotch Whisky, 70cl

Laphroaig Select Islay Single Malt Scotch Whisky is a gentler interpretation of the classic Islay malt, vatted from whisky matured in a combination of Oloroso sherry butts, American white oak, Pedro Ximénez-seasoned hogsheads, quarter casks and first-fill bourbon casks. Bottled at 40% ABV.

• Nose: Medicinal peat with mineral rockpool notes, alongside chocolate, cornflake sweetness and sherbet lemon hints.
• Palate: Light-bodied with ginger spice, vanilla, sour apple and char; subdued peat with gentle pine.
• Finish: Spicy oak and sour apple fading to traditional medicinal characteristics.
