Little Brown Dog Wee Mongrel Blended Rum, 70cl

Wee Mongrel is a blended rum from Scottish independent bottler Little Brown Dog Spirits, built for whisky drinkers exploring rum for the first time. It combines cane-juice and molasses rums from the Dominican Republic, Panama and Venezuela, each matured for a minimum of eight years in once-used bourbon casks at their distilleries of origin.

Bottled at natural colour and non-chill filtered, with no added sugar or colouring, it delivers a rounded, funky, oak-influenced character rather than a light mixing rum. Best suited to sipping neat or with a splash of water, it also stands up well in a classic Old Fashioned.
