Loch Lomond 12 Year Old is a Highland single malt matured for twelve years in bourbon, refill and re-charred casks. Bottled at 46% ABV, it balances a deeply fruity character of peach and pear with the gentle hints of peat and smoke typical of Loch Lomond.
Nose: Crisp green apple, ripe pear and fresh lemon, with golden cereal notes underneath.
Palate: Deeply fruity, with lemon meringue, pear and orchard fruits leading to citrus, vanilla and light biscuit.
Finish: Medium length, with gentle wood smoke and a lingering peaty tang.
