Loch Lomond Inchmoan 12 Year Old is a peated single malt from the Island Collection, distilled at Loch Lomond in Alexandria using a mix of swan-neck and straight-neck pot still spirit. It is matured for 12 years in re-charred American oak and refill bourbon casks.
Nose: Smouldering peat, vanilla syrup and cracked black pepper.
Palate: Sweet, with medicinal peat, smoked bacon, roasted coffee, cloves and star anise, then green apple and pear.
Finish: Long, with waxy peat and gooseberry citrus.
