Lochlea Smoke Without Fire Single Malt Scotch Whisky, 70cl

Smoke Without Fire is part of Lochlea Distillery's first core range, grown, distilled and matured entirely on the Ayrshire farm the distillery calls home. Matured in a combination of ex-peated refill bourbon barrels and red wine casks, it is bottled at 46% ABV, non-chill filtered and free from added colour.

A gentle smokiness opens the nose before giving way to citrus, orchard pear, floral notes, wet stone minerality and fresh malt. The palate carries ember-like warmth alongside pear, orange and summer flowers, with smoked meat, salted caramel and coastal air, finishing on sweet fruit over smouldering embers with a lingering pencil-shaving note.
