Moët & Chandon Brut Impérial NV Champagne, 75cl
Moët & Chandon Brut Impérial NV Champagne, 75cl
Founded in Épernay in 1743 by Claude Moët, Moët & Chandon is the largest and most widely recognised house in Champagne, historically supplying the courts of Europe and today the flagship of LVMH's wine and spirits portfolio. Brut Impérial, the house's signature non-vintage cuvée, is built from a blend of over a hundred individual wines drawn from Pinot Noir, Pinot Meunier and Chardonnay, aiming for a consistent, generous style vintage after vintage.
On the nose it shows bright green apple and citrus with a mineral edge and a touch of white flowers; the palate is crisp and fruit-forward, with ripe orchard fruit, fine persistent bubbles, and a light biscuit note on the finish.
A versatile, food-friendly champagne — a natural match for canapés, oysters or shellfish, and equally at home as a celebratory aperitif on its own.
